Cecilia, remember that time when you discovered you had coincidentally prophetic dreams? Yeah, well, NOW I'M GETTING THEM TOO. And similarly, I somehow managed to not pay attention to them.

...admittedly, my forgetting to pay attention to them makes for rather amusing stories.

Hi. The SAT raped me today.

Also, Mommy stole money from me. Barged into my room and went, "I need five dollars," took it, and left. And that was that.

Won't bother to lj cut, since I seem to have forgotten how. I'm very sorry. I'll figure it out later.

Draft #2 of English sonnet. I think it makes slightly more sense now. And the iambic pentameter's improved. I hope.

When I was only small, I heard a tale
That spoke of whites and blacks and shades of grey
And of some lady, ebon-haired and frail,
With skin of winter-white and eyes that say

A prayer which asks the truth of long-lost pasts
Which shatters perfect worlds of black and white
Till all that’s left are shards of greyish glass.
And this one lady wrapped in shawls of night

Will dance on brinks of our reality,
A grey-eyed specter flitting through our dreams.
It breaks your heart five thousand ways to see
Her fading truth, that nothing is as seems.

The curtains close; she's taking one last bow.
The dreamers weep; I think she's dying now.

Hi. Today, I wrote my sonnet for English while I was supposed to be studying for my Chinese quiz. Which I'm going to fail. Yay.

Also, I suck at iambic pentameter.

Music:"Once More With Feeling" - Buffy (musical episode)

Hi. Over the last week, I have had many, many dreams. Which I seem to actually remember rather well, which is strange.

1. I had just failed a chem test, but my dear friend Alex was marrying Orlando Bloom in the school chapel the next day, and I was supposed to be a bridesmaid in the wedding, so I couldn't afford to waste time moping over my GPA, but I couldn't really help it. I spazzed about this until it actually time for the wedding. And my escort was Amadan from "Eversummer Eve." He scared me.

2. There were chem questions on my AP Euro exam. I failed the AP Euro exam. Teacher had to take me aside to discuss my "options" in case I failed the course itself. (Also, Elizabeth Gray from the painting in the children's reading room was taking the exam with me, which was pretty damn scary in itself). Probably one of my most horrific nightmares yet.

3. I got into Princeton. (Or maybe it was Harvard. One of those annoyingly top-flight schools, anyway.) I was surprised, but in a happy way. And then my GPA dropped like whoa, and they kicked me out. Also very traumatizing dream.

4. I went to school, and every single class had a major pop test. I didn't know the answers to any of the questions. Woke up in a panic.

5. I was on a train with Cecilia. She proceeded to discuss the "night of fun" she had just had with Subaru of "Tokyo Babylon." My oncrack!subconscious always seems to like pairing them together for some reason. I think this is the only dream I had this week that did not revolve around academic failure in any way, shape, or form.

I think that these dreams may be my subconscious's special way of indicating the gradually detiorating state of my psyche...

Mood:suicidal except not

If it weren't for the whole "only a teenager and therefore just BEGINNING to live" thing, I would so throw myself a window right now. Except that it would probably hurt. And I don't like heights. Sigh. I guess I'm not cut out for histrionic suicide after all, no matter how much chem sucks. (And boy does it suck.) Spectacularly failed latest chem test. Yay for Andrea's C average in the godforsaken course. And latest word on Lawrenceville campus says C is the new F. I hate myself.

Community service at nursing home today. Fairly decent. Charlotte and I visited with this guy who used to be a German soldier during World War II. Surprsingly, he actually had some pretty interesting stories to tell. Nice old guy, he was. But God, he wanted to die, and he said that he's already seen enough of life, and didn't care if he closed his eyes forever, and it hurt to hear that and I don't know why.

Music:"Once, Twice, Three Times A Lady" - Lionel Richie

I think maybe Alex was right and my honors chem teacher is slightly senile.

Just recieved assignment in chem. Which will be graded. Took said assignment to tutor and babbled pathetically. Tutor took one look at assignment and shook her head. Apparently, my wonderful teacher just gave us a freaking AP level assignment. Hello? I'm not in an AP chemistry class. This is going to be so, so fun. Somebody shoot me please.

Oh, and yay for 6:30 PM rehearsals for ballet number in spring dance concert. I love how I'm the least experienced dancer in the entire group. Ballet = death. Graceful and pretty, but still. Deeeaaaaath. Did I mention I decided to do this thing voluntarily? Oh, yes. Yay for masochistic!Andrea.

Rereading old xanga entries. Conclusion derived from said entries: Andrea Tang is a blithering idiot.

I am so going to hate all these journals once I've gotten older.
